Mechanical Technician – Level 3, East Grand Forks, MN

 Position Description: Assemble or modify precision electro-mechanical test equipment.    
  
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble precision mechanical equipment requiring precise alignments and tolerances.
  • Ability to machine and/or understand machining principles.
  • Ability to understand alignment concept and develop assembly procedures and fixtures.
  • Provide mechanical input to engineering during the development of new product.
  • Assembles systems and support structures, and installs components, units following specifications and using hand tools.  
  • Tests assemblies for operational defects and records results.
  • Reads and interprets schematic drawings, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions. 
  • Experience in the use of various measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Performs Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).
  • Represent Ideal Aerosmith while performing calibration and/or repair of product while on-site at customer facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:  
  • 2 year degree in machining or tool and die manufacturing or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with hydraulics preferred
  • Previous Mechanical, Machining, Hydraulics experience desired.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Must be US Citizen or permanent resident.

  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Accurate completion of paperwork.

Electrical Assembler, Grand Forks ND

Position Description: Assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as test equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble avionics test equipment such as cable assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, circuit card assemblies and electronic component assemblies, following engineering prints and using hand tools, soldering equipment and automated crimpers
  • Assist with the testing of wiring assemblies for operational defects
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, specifications and work orders to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
  • 6 months experience with electrical wiring related to electronic test equipment and/or avionics systems
  • Must be US Citizen or permanent resident

  • Ability to attach or mark identification onto products or containers

  • Ability to confer with technical or manufacturing personnel
